Did you know that you can purchase items for camp in honor or in memory of someone you love? That’s just what Mary Anne Schneider, first grade teacher at White Creek Lutheran School in Columbus, did this spring.
Together with her family, Mary Anne reached out to see if they could purchase one of the AED boxes on our wish list in memory of her cousin, Brent Kreinop, who passed away unexpectedly this year.
Brent grew up going to Camp Lakeview and was just 44 when he passed away. “He will be greatly missed,” said Mary Anne, “but we rejoice in the hope we have in Christ.”
Lakeview Ministries is installing a plaque in memory of Brent on the AED box, which will house the AED unit and allow it to be easily accessible by all the groups that come to camp throughout the year.
