Big Ticket Items
- Llama
With the passing of llama Bob, we are looking for another llama to bring to camp to provide fun to our campers and visitors! We are interested in leasing a llama during our summer months (May-September) versus owning a llama, but would also consider ownership. Any leads/contacts sent our way would be appreciated!
- 85″ Flat Screen TV ($1500)
For use with our larger retreats for speaker sessions. While we currently have projectors, they struggle to be bright enough, especially in the Village Lodge when the sun is streaming through the windows.
- 150 Gallon Stock Tank + 50 Gallon Stock Tank ($127 + $67)
To replace our aging stock tanks in the horse barn area. There is a Rural King in Columbus if purchasing yourself – camp can easily pick up from there to save on shipping costs.
- Giant 8-Person Stand Up Paddle Board ($1600)
We would use this at the Village Lake with our campers during the summer. What a fantastic ride! We are able to purchase this from the providers at a wholesale rate due to our non-profit status. - E-Bike ($1500)
This is for use by our full-time staff to be able to quickly and quietly get around camp to check up on staff, groups, etc. - 10 to 12 foot metal trailer ($1700)
We will be using this to help pick up and transported donated items to camp. The link gives you an idea of what we’re looking for, and if you purchase it we could pick it up directly from Lowe’s. An aluminum trailer would be even better.
- 4-Wheeler ($5000)
To be used by our program staff for quickly accessing any part of camp, especially the back trails that vehicles cannot access.
Stihl MS 362 Gas Chainsaw with 24 in. Bar ($1000)– PURCHASED!
Our Maintenance staff are in need of a new large chainsaw to handle the big trees that need cut up around camp. This new chainsaw will help our staff clear fallen trees to keep trails and activity areas open and safe.
Manitowac NEO 310 Ice Machine ($3000)– PURCHASED!
Our current ice maker in the Camp Lakeview Dining Hall is over 20 years old and breaks down on a consistent basis. It also is too small to handle the amount of ice we need during high-use times. We would love to replace it with something a little bit larger and more reliable!
