Hiring Timeline: Our initial application deadline is April 1st, but we will conduct rolling interviews until the position is filled. Our goal is to find and hire someone by May 2026, but we are willing to be flexible for the right candidate.
Job Description:
The Retreats Program Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our retreat groups ministry and leading program communications. Between August-May we welcome 100+ retreat groups representing several thousand guests, serving a variety of church, youth, school, family, and adult groups.
Required qualifications for this role include:
- Possess at least a bachelor’s degree from a post-secondary institution OR have at least four years of job-related experience.
- Dedicated Christian who is willing to share their faith in Christ with others.
- As a representative of Lakeview Ministries, demonstrate a lifestyle and teach Christian doctrine in accordance with the beliefs of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
- Demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
- Strong group leadership and facilitation skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent writing and communication skills
Salary/Benefits:
This is a full time salaried position with a salary range of $40,000-55,000 based on salary guidelines provided by the LCMS Indiana District. There is a full benefits package including cafeteria health plan, retirement, and vacation benefits. This position is also eligible to receive a call as a rostered worker of the LCMS.

Part-Time Cook
We are looking for 1-2 part time cooks to help with the more than 100 retreat groups that visit camp during the months of August, September and October. This is a part-time job that allows you to be flexible, work the days that you’re able, and makes you part of a life-giving ministry and cause. Hours are primarily available on weekends, with a few midweek opportunities. No prior food service experience is necessary, just an ability to follow instructions and work hard! Part-Time Housekeeper / Cleaner (No Current Openings)
Part-time housekeepers help clean our buildings and facilities after each of our school-year retreat groups (August – November, March – May). Our busiest cleaning days are Mondays and Fridays. This is a part-time job that allows you to be flexible, work the days that you’re able, and makes you part of a life-giving ministry and cause.
